Based on these results, the DEAG Group recorded sales of EUR 63.9 million in the first half of 2019, compared to EUR 118.0 million\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">in\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">the previous year. Operating earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) amounted to EUR 3.1 million compared\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">to<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0EUR 4.2 million on a comparable basis. The\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">operating EBITDA margin was 4.9<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">% after 3.6% in the previous year.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:200,&quot;335559740&quot;:276}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The decline in sales is mainly attributable to the seasonal postponement of\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">certain<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0events.\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">For example, the 12 stadium shows with Ed Sheeran in the UK were held i<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">n the second quarter of 2018. His \u201cDivide\u201d tour is the most commercially successful tour of all time. For this reason, the company is forecasting sales of around EUR 55 million in the third quarter, an increase of more than 60% over the previous year. In addition, DEAG expects this year to be one of the strongest fourth quarters in co<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">mpany<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0history and above-average\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">growth in\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">earnings. In the second half of the year, the company plans to make further acquisitions to strengthen both\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">its<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0portfolio and existing value<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0creation<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.
