KROMI Logistik AG: Ulrich Bellgardt succeeds René Dannert on the Supervisory Board

  • Switch follows the acquisition of the majority shareholding by Investmentaktiengesellschaft für langfristige Investoren TGV
  • Bellgardt offers long-standing experience in various management positions at industrial companies
  • Managing Board thanks Dannert for his many years of commitment

Hamburg, 1 September 2016 – KROMI Logistik AG, a provider of end-to-end tool logistic solutions for manufacturing companies, is welcoming Ulrich Bellgardt as a new member of the Supervisory Board from 1 September. Bellgardt succeeds René Dannert, who is stepping down from his position effective as of 31 August 2016.

Ulrich Bellgardt, born in 1957, offers rich experience gathered during many years in management positions at various industrial companies, including as Managing Director of today’s SMT Scharf Group as well as CEO of Surface Technology, a division of Saurer AG. He is currently Managing Partner at the Swiss strategy and management consultancy ubc GmbH.

René Dannert played a considerable role in the success of the company’s IPO in 2007 as CFO of KROMI Logistik AG before making the switch to the Supervisory Board. His current Supervisory Board term would have expired in December 2016. This change in the Supervisory Board comes about on the back of the acquisition of the majority shareholding and public takeover bid by the Investmentaktiengesellschaft für langfristige Investoren TGV announced in June of this year, which was expressly supported by the Managing Board and Supervisory Board of KROMI Logistik AG in a joint statement.

Jörg Schubert, CEO of KROMI Logistik AG, comments on the change in the Supervisory Board: “In René Dannert we are losing long-time companion whose name remains synonymous with the successes of KROMI Logistik AG. We would like to extend our greatest thanks to him for his outstanding commitment and loyalty to KROMI Logistik AG over all these years. By the same token, we are delighted to have found such an experienced and skilled successor in Ulrich Bellgardt and we look forward to establishing a good working relationship with him.”

The appointment of Ulrich Bellgardt is taking place pursuant to § 104 para. 1 of the German Stock Corporation Act (AktG) at Hamburg District Court. Bellgardt will stand for election by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting this December as part of an additional election process.
